Returns, BAS, planning and ATO disputes, all handled by registered tax agents. We work with individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts and self managed funds across Melbourne. Clients on our lodgement program generally have until 15 May rather than 31 October, which is six extra months to get it right.

Tax Handled Properly, Start to Finish
Tax work is more than a form in July. We look at how your income is earned, how your entities are structured and what is coming up over the next twelve months, then lodge on that basis. Asking the right questions in August is what keeps the return straightforward in May.
Every client gets a lodgement calendar, a quoted fee before any work starts, and reminders ahead of each due date rather than after it. If the ATO writes to you, we answer it. If a return is already late or a debt has built up, we take that on as well instead of turning the file away. Most of our work arrives by referral, which only happens when the last return went smoothly.

Expertise
Our accountants hold Chartered and IPA qualifications and work across individual, company, trust and superannuation tax. Jignesh Patel, our director, has more than 25 years in the field and sits on the board of the Institute of Public Accountants. Technical training runs continuously here, because the rules move every year and a return prepared on last year’s understanding is a return worth arguing about.
Everything Else
Under One Roof
Tax rarely sits on its own. Most clients use us for two or three of the below, which is what keeps the advice consistent from one year to the next.
Tax Questions We Get Asked Most
When is my tax return actually due?
If you lodge it yourself, the 2025-26 return was due 2 November 2026. If you are on a registered agent’s lodgement program, most individuals and trusts have until 15 May 2027. You need to be on an agent’s list before the self lodgement date passes to get that extension, so it is worth calling in October rather than April.
How much does a tax return cost?
It depends on what is in it. A wage earner with one employer and a few deductions is a different job to a family trust with a property and franking credits. We look at your prior year return first, then quote a fixed fee in writing before starting. You will not get an invoice with a surprise on it.
Can you lodge returns that are years overdue?
Yes, and a fair number of our new clients arrive that way. We work out what is outstanding, request your ATO data, lodge the years in order and then deal with any penalties or interest that come back. Voluntarily catching up is treated very differently to being chased, so the sooner it starts the better it goes.
What do I need to bring to the first appointment?
Your prior year return or notice of assessment, income statements, and details of anything you bought, sold or rented out during the year. If you are not sure what counts, bring it anyway. We would rather sort through too much than lodge on too little.
I owe the ATO money and cannot pay it. Can you help?
Yes. We can negotiate a payment arrangement, apply for remission of failure to lodge penalties and general interest charge where there are grounds, and get the lodgements current, which is usually the ATO’s first condition for any arrangement. See our tax debt assistance page for how that works.
